Hello everyone,
The holidays are just around the corner and this is a busy time for small and big businesses everywhere. Its been a big challenge for me to keep my online business going. Time is a big issue for me, especially working a full time job and trying to spend quality time w/ my family. I've been generating consistent traffic to my blog and my online website but not as much as I feel I should be. Luckily I have a great support group and a mentor that are having great success with their online business and are willing to share their knowledge with me. One of the key tools that they keep reminding me is getting more involved with Social Networking. I've been able to use Facebook.com which has been sending people to my blog and business website. My next tool I will be using is Twitter. Many business owner, whether small stores or online stores, are having great success with Twitter. I'm looking forward to opening a twitter account and share my trials and errors of my journey to having a successful online business.

Hello everyone,
I know its been a few since my last post. I was searching around for up to date information regarding whats new out in the small business world. What I've realized is that there are still so many people unsure about the opportunity of starting either an online business or a small mom and pop store. During the next weeks, I will be finding articles, videos, and writing articles of my own regarding this even more. The benefits of having your own business and being your own boss is very rewarding for yourself and your family in the long run. Simple Reasons For Starting A Home Business
Hello everyone,
The other day I was driving from work thinking about the business and I was trying to figure out what I can say to help motivate people to want to start a home business. Everyone has their own reasons for doing anything in life and always striving to be better in what they are doing now. We all have goals in life. Goals are the driving force that makes us who and what we are today. So what I decided to do was come up with a few reasons why to start up a home business and what benefits come w/ it.
1. You are the boss! You are the on single person that calls the shots. You decide how you want to run your business.
2. No worries about getting fired. Job security for as long as you continue to work your business.
3. No more long hours when you own your own business. You will be able to set your own hours that best fits your schedule.
4. You will be able to work less hours and make more money than you did at your previous job. Which will allow you to spend more time and do the things that you want to do.
5. Stress would not be a factor in your life. You will be doing something you enjoy and love. Not many people can do this.
6. When you work from home, you can have more fun. You don't have to worry about dress codes or any types of rules and regulations. You can work in your your pajamas from home if you like.
7. You will start to save on daily expenses. Things like gas costs to work and back. Maybe even toll expenses if you have any in your area. If you like going to Starbucks or your favorite coffee shop, you don't have to worry about that, because you can make your own at home and also wear and tear on your vehicle. All of these eliminated from your daily life can save you a lot of money as well.
8. You can start your own home business w/ little or no cost at all. Which means, the minute you start making money, it's all profit from there.
9. Owning your own business comes w/ many tax benefits at the end of the year. I suggest talking to your tax expert or even look online in regards to owning your own business. You will be surprised!
10. The last thing I feel is the best benefit from starting your own home business is PRIDE! You did it on your own and all the hard work becomes satisfying once you start making money.
These are just a few reasons for starting your own business. Of course we all have different reasons and agendas for doing something because of course we are all different. But just a food for thought....The decisions we make in the world today, will affect generations to come. For me as a father, I want to leave this world knowing that I did all I can do to make sure my children and their children have a great life. I want my family to look back in their family tree and know that my wife and I made the right decisions in life and they can use us as an example to help guide their families.

Motivation For A Successful Home Business
Hello everyone, I hope you found my last post in regards to Open Sky informative. The video should have given you a little insight of what the company is all about. It is very encouraging to know that it is possible to start your own home business and be successful at it. To know that there are people taking control of their lives and overcoming all obstacles. What I think makes their businesses successful is their motivation. So I decided to have you read one of the articles I have written in regards to this subject.
How Motivation Plays a Major Role With Your Business

There are so many successful business owners out in the world today. These people of course did not get to where they are at right now w/ out some type of motivation to get them there. Motivation is a very powerful tool that is used to create, build, overcome, and is a factor for any business or personal endeavor. It is the biggest factor in any individuals life that determines their success. In the military, our motivation was to be the best that we can be whatever the task was. Its the force that drives us to be the best and to accomplish our goals in life. By using this force, it allows the individual to overcome all obstacles that may present themselves during their journey to reach their goal.
When it comes to starting a business, you have to remind yourself everyday what motivates you. It can be anything and everything to that individual. Some peoples motivation is to make as much money as they can. Some feel that building the best website is what motivates them. The most common motivation I see out in the Internet business world is generating that financial freedom so there can be more family time. This is the driving force that keeps you focused on what your goal is. Determination and motivation combined can be powerful when used together. That's why the most successful people out there stick out above all the rest.
Just knowing what motivates you is sometimes not enough. You have to dig deep inside when dealing with adversity. Staying on that line towards your goal will always have challenges that may come about. Things like,money, time, and personal problems may occur. Staying motivated on your journey is not an easy task. For some it can either make you or break you. Especially when you are starting a business. I guarantee you that you will be presented with challenges during your journey and you may come to a point where you may want to give up. The key to this all is to, "REMIND YOURSELF WHATS YOUR MOTIVATION", and that will and should keep you focused on the goal.
For my journey to start my own Internet business, my family is my most motivating factor. It's what keeps me motivated to stay up at night to work on my business. I am currently working in the corporate world today and find that it has been taking a lot of family time away from me. I want to be able to spend more time with my family and not having to worry about money. This is what motivates me and this is what will get me to my goal. I'm on my way and nothing will get in the way of me achieving this goal. Good Luck!

Believe In Yourself
Hello everyone,
Well, another weekend has come and gone and my Oakland Raiders have won 59 to 14 against the Denver Broncos. Of course this was one of my high lights of the weekend. Any win by the Raiders is always satisfying for me, but winning by that margin and in Denver is so so Sweet!
There are so many things in life that can deter you from what you want to accomplish. You may have financial issues that can be putting a heavy weight on your shoulders. There can be some family issues that you're dealing with. Having some personal problems at work, that could be placing a toll on your health. Whatever the issue is, it's preventing you to stay motivated and believing in yourself to accomplish your dreams.
Dreams can be anything in your life. You may have dreams of getting promoted. Dreams of being financially free. Dreams of starting your own business. Or just dreams of being a good father, mother, husband, or wife. These dreams of ours are what drives us to be who and what we want to be in life. Without these dreams, we would be living life day by day. Taking what life has to give us.
Now, it can be hard to stay motivated and positive, especially right now during these hard times. Yes work may be stressing you out. Yes you may be out of shape and your health is not doing to well. Yes your finances may be stressing you out. You feel like you're in a box suffocating with no way out!
But there is a way out! There is always a way out. You have to remember that you have control of everything and anything that goes on in your life. There are more positive things in your life that you may think. One of the most important things in your life right now is life itself. These negative things going on your life right now are just temporary. You cannot let these things get to you. You must always see the positive things in your life and not be bogged down by the negative things. You have the ability, by just the snap of your fingers, to change how you feel, how you think, and how you see your life. You were put on this earth for a reason and I guarantee you it was not to fail. You have to believe that you were destined to be great. Of course there are obstacles that you have to over come in life, but by you trying, believing, and staying positive, the conquest of those obstacles are what makes us and defines us.
The key is to stay positive. You need to wake up believing that you will have great day, believing your finances will start to change for the better, believing that your health will start to improve, and believing you are destined to be great! The more you start believing in your self and the more you stay positive, the odds of you failing decreases dramatically. Even if you have to think back to when you were a kid. From kindergarten all the way to the day you graduated high school. That is an accomplishment in itself.
You see...you have been accomplishing obstacles your whole life. Don't let the negatives get you down. If you want to get that promotion, be the best that you can be at work. If you want to improve your health, start working out and eating right. If you want your finances to improve, create a daily budget and be proactive with what you spend. If you want your home business to be successful, do your research, study the economy, and NEVER GIVE UP! You are destined for greatness. Believe in yourself, have faith, and stay positive! Dwelling on the negatives in your life will not do anything but get you down. It not only affects you but it affect the people around you. Don't let the negativity win! You have the power to change it and you have the power to stay positive! Keep your head up and believe! Good Luck!

Passion For Success Online
Hello everyone,
Well another weekend has ended and it's time for a new week of work. I hope everyone had a good weekend with family and friends.
I've learned a lot since I've started my affiliate marketing business. If you noticed my blog has gone through many changes. I've added a few pages to help market the top affiliate businesses out on the Internet today. My Plug Profit Site is starting to generate traffic because of my blog and articles I have written on Ezinearticles.com. Global Domains International, My World Plus, and SFI sites are starting to generate consistent traffic as well.
What I've learned the most is studying and doing research on the products that I'm promoting. That is one of the keys to being successful with this business. You have to believe in the product and service that you're promoting. You have to have passion and belief for the company products of any Internet business from which you expect to make money. Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched and like the company and its products. It is then, that you translate that like, into education, excitement, and work that usually accompany passion.
Now passion is not the only thing necessary to become successful because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and much more. Those things are often learned from the company you join, but sidestep passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically. It therefore follows that, if you have no passion for the company and the products and services provided by the company, again, you won't attempt to do the work you are being taught.
Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time-consuming but it does take motivation caused by passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort, so that you won't stumble. You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet marketing industry for business opportunities. USE IT!
By doing your research, you will be able to find that one product that you like and be passionate about. For me I've found a few already that I'm very passionate about and know that it can and will be my next greatest success story. Second only to my family. This passion is what drives me. I know inside my soul that I can and will be successful.
For example. Think about the doctors, teachers, and song writers. A doctor cannot just be a doctor and not be passionate about it. It is their passion to be able to help people stay healthy and strong. A teacher cannot teach with out passion. They became a teacher because it's their passion to be able to educate people. And also a song writer cannot just write song with out passion. They write songs because they know in their heart that writing songs is what they love to do.
You can define passion with every success story in your life. For me, my passion is to provide my family with the best opportunity that life has to offer. Motivate them to be positive and know that they can do and become anything they want to be in life.
You see passion can be anything in your life. A good writer, doctor, teacher, parent, and business owner, as long as you have passion in what you are doing, you are halfway there. Don't let the nay sayers get in your way. If your passionate about about being an actor or passionate about owning a business, or even passionate about writing, you can use that passion as an advantage in your life. I say that because it's something that no one can ever take a way from you. That is where your heart is. It's what helps drive you to reach that goal in your life.
So in regards to Internet marketing, there are steps you must make before you step into Internet marketing but if you don't first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success. But when you do find that one, and you know it's a product you like and you feel other people will like, you can use that product to help w/ your passion to become a successful Internet business owner.

If your passionate about about being an actor or passionate about owning a business, or even passionate about writing, you can use that passion as an advantage in your life. I say that because it's something that no one can ever take a way from you. That is where your heart is. It's what helps drive you to reach that goal in your life.
So in regards to Internet marketing, there are steps you must make before you step into Internet marketing but if you don't first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success. A few years ago I read a book called, " Rich Dad Poor Dad ", written by Robert Kiyosaki. Robert Kiyosaki is know all across the Globe and is an expert in educating people w/ their finances. The book is not only about his life but it is also and educates you on money and how it works. The book has given me a wealth of knowledge and a different look on life and has motivated me to strive and become and entrepreneur myself. I highly recommend reading his book and I even suggest letting your children read the book as well. I've come a across a few videos that I'v seen on You Tube. I really think you will be surprised and it will make you think!

Creating a funny video website is not only easy but can be fun as well. These are the four easy steps to create a funny video website and make a good profit at the same time.

The first thing to making a funny video website is choosing a good name. Have some fun trying to think of catchy names for your website. A catchy, unique, and memorable name is key to not only getting traffic but maintaining traffic.

Creating Income For Free
Hello everyone,
Looks like another weekend has ended and it's time for another week of work, at least for most of us. I hope you all have enjoyed your time w/ family and friends.
I wanted to talk to you all about the costs of starting a business on the Internet. Some people may think that you need a lot of money to make money online. But in reality, you can start an Internet business w/ very little capital. In fact, you can create your own website for free and still have the potential to make a lot of money.
For instance, I will use my blog as an example. If you look around my site it may seem to the average person that it must have cost me a lot of money to create the website. Or I may have paid someone or a company to create it for me. My blog was totally free and I did not have to spend a dime. I joined Blogger.com and it allowed me to create my blog the way I wanted to look and feel. Blogger.com is just one of many companies that you can go through and create your own website, but I think it is the best out there for anyone starting.
Some knowledge of HTML may be needed to learn how to install video's and links, but there are many places on the Internet like You Tube that can help you understand just enough. ( If you need information on how to install video's you can leave you're email address w/ your question and I will be happy to assist ) Again, even the videos that you see on my blog were totally free and found on the Internet or You Tube.
Now you're probably asking how can I make money? Or why start a Blog? For me I feel a blog is a good way to try and catch the readers eye. I want readers to come back and read my blog. I want to try and give them an idea on the Affiliate Marketing business. Motivate my readers to be the best that they can be by being honest and provide them with useful information that they can use in their own business or in their lives.
Now there are hundreds of companies that are willing to pay you to put their adds on your site. To do this all you need to do is find these companies, become an affiliate, and put their add on your site. If the readers purchases their product from your site, you get paid. There are some affiliates that give you the opportunity to gain residual income by selling their product on your site.
There are companies like Host Gator, which is a hosting company. Now take a look at the right side of my blog. Do you see the Host Gator advertisement? Now I'm going to use them as an example. I have joined Host Gator and have become an affiliate member, (for free!). What this means is that, I can promote their product on my site and get paid when someone decides to use them to host or create their website. Currently, I get paid $50.00 to $125.00 every time someone joins Host Gator. There are affiliate marketers making thousands of dollars a month just by promoting Host Gator. Host Gator is a well known Hosting company with a good reputation that thousands of people are using.
Now think about this for a moment. This is just one product on my site that I became a member for free and now getting paid anytime someone joins from my site. Mostly everything on my site that anyone purchases or becomes a member, I get paid. Some of the products has the potential to give me residual income ( money paid to me as long as a member makes monthly payments ). I want to share this because its a market that not many people know about. Some feel that they are not qualified or just think it's hard to learn. But it is not! You may need to do some research on certain things like HTML or installing photos and videos, research on marketing your website/blog, learn things like SEO, search engine optimization, and know what type of keywords to use. But think about it, wouldn't a little research be worth the amount of money that you can potentially earn? In my opinion, I would think it would be worth it 100%, if it means I can be financially free.
That's why I feel a blog is a great tool to use to market your products. I enjoy writing and sharing my thoughts and life experiences w/ my readers, which makes it enjoyable as well. STAY POSITIVE
Hello everyone,
There can be many challenges in life. Not knowing what the future holds. Waiting for when the time comes when life gets easier and you stop living life check to check. Or hoping that the business venture you're doing is going to turn and all your hard work will be rewarded. For some, they live life day to day and start to wonder what their purpose in life is. Living day to day, taking care of the kids, or working a full time job and trying to survive, are what a lot of people are going thru today. They lose sight of what they wanted to be. They lose sight of what their passion is and that's when they start to get depressed and start to feel unsure if they're a good parent, husband, wife, or provider. It can be overwhelming and can make you feel lonely.
Sometimes you have to stop and think about your life for a moment. Close your eyes, take a few breaths and think. I mean really think about what is positive in your life? Yes you may be living life check to check. Yes, it's hard not knowing what the future holds. Yes you don't have time to be what you wanted to be in life. And yes, it can make you feel unsure of being a good parent, husband, or wife. But what are the positives?
Don't ever forget to stop and think about the positive things in your life. The most important thing in you life is pretty much life itself. You are breathing and you are healthy. Think about your kids next. Next to your health, your kids should be your priority in life. You should feel good because your kids have clothes to wear, food to eat, and a place to live. That's a positive. If you have a full time job, that's a positive as well because there are so many people out in the world today that are unemployed. And if you are unemployed, the best thing to do is STAY POSITIVE, HAVE FAITH, and THINGS WILL TURN! You just have to believe. Things will always turn around for the better. You've come this far in your life!
You may have had dreams to do or be something when you were younger and you may still have dreams. But that's what dreams are for. Dreams are made to come true. You can still achieve those dreams no matter how old or how young you are. It's like the saying goes, you can be what ever you want to be. Keep dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, until your dreams come true! Don't ever let anyone or anything stand in your way. It may be a journey to get there but stay on that line, balance your life, stay positive, and your path to your dreams will come true.
That goes the same for any business as well. It may be difficult at times and you think that your business is not going anywhere. But you need to remain positive. I know the word POSITIVE is mentioned a lot but if you think about it, it is a very powerful word. I've learned that the way to achieve anything in life is having the right attitude. Having the right attitude means thinking positive about everything. Right when you start your day, you need to wake up believing that you will have GREAT day, your business will start to progress, your kids will have a safe and productive day, and your journey to your dreams will soon come true.
Once you try to think and live positive, I guarantee you, you're life and the people around you will change in a POSITIVE way.

Many people are different and have different reasons for doing what they want to do or be in life. A GREAT LIFE!
Hello everyone,
You know at times in your life you wake up and realize how great life is. You look over and see your wife sleeping calmly and sound. Walk around your home and stare at all your kids sleeping safely w/ no worries. Knowing that you're providing a roof over their heads, food for them to eat, and clothes on their back. You have a great and secure job that helps you take care of them. Then you stop and think, wow, I am the luckiest man in the world. I am greatly blessed and thankful for everything that I have.
Then you realize how much they depend on you. Every decision and every direction that you take effects their lives and their well being. For some people out there, it is too much for them to handle. I mean if you think about it, being a father and husband is a job on it's own. You should want to be the best that you can be. Children should have nothing to worry about except for doing their chores and homework. As a father you need to make sure they have all the essentials in life, a place to live, clothes to wear, food on the table, and the most important is love. Thats all they need! And its up to you to make sure they recieve all of these ingredients. This does not only pertain to your children but also your wife. She is the bond that keeps the family together. Your partner, best freind, and your Queen. It is your job to make sure she recieves the same ingredients and more.
I appreciate my Great Life Now! But I feel my family deserves more. I want to create a solid foundation not only for my family but for their children and generations to come. It's a very powerful feeling if you think about it. Every decision that you make effects not only your children but generations to come. That's why I want to create a legacy of good fortune and create a good example that my children can share w/ theirs. You work hard, treat people the way you want to be treated, love your children, respect your husband or wife, and be thankful and blessed for everything that you have.
I know this is a little off of what I normally talk about but this was something that I wanted to share. My family ( Ohana ) is my driving force. They motivate me to be successful in all my endeavors. I will be successful with my new business venture and my family will reap the benefits. I am truly blessed!

As a father you need to make sure they have all the essentials in life, a place to live, clothes to wear, food on the table, and the most important is love. Thats all they need! And its up to you to make sure they recieve all of these ingredients. This does not only pertain to your children but also your wife. She is the bond that keeps the family together. Your partner, best freind, and your Queen. It is your job to make sure she recieves the same ingredients and more.
I appreciate my Great Life Now! But I feel my family deserves more. I want to create a solid foundation not only for my family but for their children and generations to come. It's a very powerful feeling if you think about it. Every decision that you make effects not only your children but generations to come. That's why I want to create a legacy of good fortune and create a good example that my children can share w/ theirs. You work hard, treat people the way you want to be treated, love your children, respect your husband or wife, and be thankful and blessed for everything that you have.
I know this is a little off of what I normally talk about but this was something that I wanted to share. My family ( Ohana ) is my driving force. They motivate me to be successful in all my endeavors. I will be successful with my new business venture and my family will reap the benefits. I am truly blessed!

FACEBOOK NETWORKING
Good afternoon,
Today is a good day. Anytime I can stay home and hang out w/ my family is always a blessing. Whenever I have the day off, I enjoy dropping my kids off to school. These are the times I feel are times to appreciate. I'm sure my kids appreciate it as well. I love the feeling when I say Daddy is going to drop you guys off to school today. Then they all break out w/ a smile. Especially my young one who jumps up and down w/ great enthusiasm.
The one thing that they always say though is, " Dad are you going out like that?" And of course I tell them, " well I'm not going out of the car or anything...whats wrong if I'm wearing my red shorts, orange tank top, hat, and slippers....it's my day off!" Other than that, we all still enjoying the fact that I'm off. And you should see my baby girl, of course who is not in school yet. She is just excited and all over me while my wife is enjoys sleeping in.
Time to put on Sponge Bob Square Pants for my princess to watch and work on my business.
Last night I stayed up pretty late, trying to figure out how I can promote my new venture. I talked about how my family and I are doing external promotions, which are flyer's, business cards, and word of mouth. I even got some advise from an old high school friend, who saw my link on Facebook. Now that was an eye opener for me because he was the 2nd person from high school to contact me in regards to my business venture. Facebook is a great way to not only keep in touch w/ your friends and family but a great way to get your business some exposure. He gave me some advise on how to promote any business and recommended T-Shirts. T-Shirts is a great way to promote any business externally. A great example of how Facebook is helping everyone is the fact the my friend was also promoting his business at the same time. He actually owns a silk screening company. Talk about a win win. I may have found a business partner for my future marketing campaigns. Now can you imagine for second on how powerful Facebook can be. There are over a million Facebook users through out the world today. Now, Facebook offers the ability to promote your add, not only on your profile site but through out the Facebook community world wide. You only get charged, when a consumer clicks on your link. Plus you have control to manage on how many clicks you get daily. That's an incredible tool to have when marketing your business. You can also create your own business entity or page. I have friends currently on Facebook that are promoting their businesses as well. Just the other day another old friend of mine invited me to accept and invitation for his real estate business. I believe he is a real estate agent and he uses this page to promote homes that are for sale in his particular area. Another friend of mine has a page for his Mercedes Auto Repair Company. They have taken advantage and seen how powerful it is to use Facebook. They are gaining tremendous exposure and I bet you getting more business if they were not using it. This is all just food for thought of course. But if your want to get good exposure this is just one of many ways to market your business.
I will continue to talk about other ways I am trying to promote and market my business in future blogs. Also just FYI, I am currently an author for EZINEARTICLES.COM. I currently have 5 live articles that are in place for anyone to read. Just go to the website and type in Oliver Olano in the search box. This is another way I am marketing, but I can talk about that in another blog.

Staying Focus on my Goals
Hello everyone,
Well it's been a couple weeks since my last post. I've been slowly but surely getting things into place. What I have learned so far is to stay focus on my vision and goals. I know it's pretty hard to stay focus while keeping up with my full time job and giving my family the quality time that they need. Sometimes it can very tiring but I know it will be all worth it in the end. Stay focused on my vision and my goal of owning a successful business and not to let anything or anyone stop me from achieving my goal is what I need to do.
As far as my affiliate marketing business, I've been trying different things to market GDI. My family and I have been going to the malls and placing business cards on cars. Placing flyers in different stores that have community boards. What I've also been trying was leaving a card at the table when we eat out, give one to the cashier person when i pay at any store or fast food joint. Its been pretty fun at the same time because we are making it a family thing. My wife and I have even been paying our boys $10.00 each to place on cars. So it's a win win for all of us.
I've also been going back to writing articles on Ezinearticles.com. I've learned that writing articles is a good way of promoting the business as well. So far I have 5 live articles. It's actually pretty rewarding to know that I've created my own original articles for people to read and no one can take that away from me.
The last thing I've tried was promoting my business through email by sending emails to everyone I know. Oh yeah, also facebook helps to. I'm currently in the process of creating a page for GDI linked to my account. So as you can see I'm trying everything and anything to help get this business known out to the world. I just can't explain so much in words how this opportunity to be part of a growing company makes me feel. I'm just excited.

Discovery of a Global Home Based Business!

I wanted to start my blog w/ a picture of my kids and I hanging out at Santa Cruz, California. We spent the whole weekend there for my birthday. Well actually it was my son Jr.'s birthday weekend as well. We both share the same birthday. Pretty cool, huh! The picture represents my motivation in life. As you can see, I have a pretty big family w/ 3 boys and 1 little princess! There happiness is what drives me to be the best that I can be because if I'm successful....my family is successful.
As you all may know, having a big family during these times can be really difficult. I currently have a good job right now. Working in the corporate world I am able to take care of my family w/ 1 income. I make just enough to get by and pay my bills and living expenses. But you know, I feel my family deserves more. I work over 60 hours a week and since my children have started school, I have only a limited amount of time to spend w/ them and my wife. So I've been searching and looking for a business opportunity that will allow me to have more family time and not have to worry about money. I believe I've found it!

I was looking around searching online for some type of business opportunity and this is by far the best one I've come across.
