Hello everyone,
The holidays are just around the corner and this is a busy time for small and big businesses everywhere. Its been a big challenge for me to keep my online business going. Time is a big issue for me, especially working a full time job and trying to spend quality time w/ my family. I've been generating consistent traffic to my blog and my online website but not as much as I feel I should be. Luckily I have a great support group and a mentor that are having great success with their online business and are willing to share their knowledge with me. One of the key tools that they keep reminding me is getting more involved with Social Networking. I've been able to use Facebook.com which has been sending people to my blog and business website. My next tool I will be using is Twitter. Many business owner, whether small stores or online stores, are having great success with Twitter. I'm looking forward to opening a twitter account and share my trials and errors of my journey to having a successful online business.

Hello everyone,
I know its been a few since my last post. I was searching around for up to date information regarding whats new out in the small business world. What I've realized is that there are still so many people unsure about the opportunity of starting either an online business or a small mom and pop store. During the next weeks, I will be finding articles, videos, and writing articles of my own regarding this even more. The benefits of having your own business and being your own boss is very rewarding for yourself and your family in the long run. In my opinion it is the best way to achieve the financial freedom that we are all looking for. Here are some videos that I've found in the U.S. Small Business Administration Website.

Simple Reasons For Starting A Home Business
Hello everyone,
The other day I was driving from work thinking about the business and I was trying to figure out what I can say to help motivate people to want to start a home business. Everyone has their own reasons for doing anything in life and always striving to be better in what they are doing now. We all have goals in life. Goals are the driving force that makes us who and what we are today. So what I decided to do was come up with a few reasons why to start up a home business and what benefits come w/ it.
1. You are the boss! You are the on single person that calls the shots. You decide how you want to run your business.
2. No worries about getting fired. Job security for as long as you continue to work your business.
3. No more long hours when you own your own business. You will be able to set your own hours that best fits your schedule.
4. You will be able to work less hours and make more money than you did at your previous job. Which will allow you to spend more time and do the things that you want to do.
5. Stress would not be a factor in your life. You will be doing something you enjoy and love. Not many people can do this.
6. When you work from home, you can have more fun. You don't have to worry about dress codes or any types of rules and regulations. You can work in your your pajamas from home if you like.
7. You will start to save on daily expenses. Things like gas costs to work and back. Maybe even toll expenses if you have any in your area. If you like going to Starbucks or your favorite coffee shop, you don't have to worry about that, because you can make your own at home and also wear and tear on your vehicle. All of these eliminated from your daily life can save you a lot of money as well.
8. You can start your own home business w/ little or no cost at all. Which means, the minute you start making money, it's all profit from there.
9. Owning your own business comes w/ many tax benefits at the end of the year. I suggest talking to your tax expert or even look online in regards to owning your own business. You will be surprised!
10. The last thing I feel is the best benefit from starting your own home business is PRIDE! You did it on your own and all the hard work becomes satisfying once you start making money.
These are just a few reasons for starting your own business. Of course we all have different reasons and agendas for doing something because of course we are all different. But just a food for thought....The decisions we make in the world today, will affect generations to come. For me as a father, I want to leave this world knowing that I did all I can do to make sure my children and their children have a great life. I want my family to look back in their family tree and know that my wife and I made the right decisions in life and they can use us as an example to help guide their families.

Motivation For A Successful Home Business
Hello everyone, I hope you found my last post in regards to Open Sky informative. The video should have given you a little insight of what the company is all about. It is very encouraging to know that it is possible to start your own home business and be successful at it. To know that there are people taking control of their lives and overcoming all obstacles. What I think makes their businesses successful is their motivation. So I decided to have you read one of the articles I have written in regards to this subject.
How Motivation Plays a Major Role With Your Business

There are so many successful business owners out in the world today. These people of course did not get to where they are at right now w/ out some type of motivation to get them there. Motivation is a very powerful tool that is used to create, build, overcome, and is a factor for any business or personal endeavor. It is the biggest factor in any individuals life that determines their success. In the military, our motivation was to be the best that we can be whatever the task was. Its the force that drives us to be the best and to accomplish our goals in life. By using this force, it allows the individual to overcome all obstacles that may present themselves during their journey to reach their goal.
When it comes to starting a business, you have to remind yourself everyday what motivates you. It can be anything and everything to that individual. Some peoples motivation is to make as much money as they can. Some feel that building the best website is what motivates them. The most common motivation I see out in the Internet business world is generating that financial freedom so there can be more family time. This is the driving force that keeps you focused on what your goal is. Determination and motivation combined can be powerful when used together. That's why the most successful people out there stick out above all the rest.
Just knowing what motivates you is sometimes not enough. You have to dig deep inside when dealing with adversity. Staying on that line towards your goal will always have challenges that may come about. Things like,money, time, and personal problems may occur. Staying motivated on your journey is not an easy task. For some it can either make you or break you. Especially when you are starting a business. I guarantee you that you will be presented with challenges during your journey and you may come to a point where you may want to give up. The key to this all is to, "REMIND YOURSELF WHATS YOUR MOTIVATION", and that will and should keep you focused on the goal.
For my journey to start my own Internet business, my family is my most motivating factor. It's what keeps me motivated to stay up at night to work on my business. I am currently working in the corporate world today and find that it has been taking a lot of family time away from me. I want to be able to spend more time with my family and not having to worry about money. This is what motivates me and this is what will get me to my goal. I'm on my way and nothing will get in the way of me achieving this goal. Good Luck!

Believe In Yourself
Hello everyone,
Well, another weekend has come and gone and my Oakland Raiders have won 59 to 14 against the Denver Broncos. Of course this was one of my high lights of the weekend. Any win by the Raiders is always satisfying for me, but winning by that margin and in Denver is so so Sweet!
There are so many things in life that can deter you from what you want to accomplish. You may have financial issues that can be putting a heavy weight on your shoulders. There can be some family issues that you're dealing with. Having some personal problems at work, that could be placing a toll on your health. Whatever the issue is, it's preventing you to stay motivated and believing in yourself to accomplish your dreams.
Dreams can be anything in your life. You may have dreams of getting promoted. Dreams of being financially free. Dreams of starting your own business. Or just dreams of being a good father, mother, husband, or wife. These dreams of ours are what drives us to be who and what we want to be in life. Without these dreams, we would be living life day by day. Taking what life has to give us.
Now, it can be hard to stay motivated and positive, especially right now during these hard times. Yes work may be stressing you out. Yes you may be out of shape and your health is not doing to well. Yes your finances may be stressing you out. You feel like you're in a box suffocating with no way out!
But there is a way out! There is always a way out. You have to remember that you have control of everything and anything that goes on in your life. There are more positive things in your life that you may think. One of the most important things in your life right now is life itself. These negative things going on your life right now are just temporary. You cannot let these things get to you. You must always see the positive things in your life and not be bogged down by the negative things. You have the ability, by just the snap of your fingers, to change how you feel, how you think, and how you see your life. You were put on this earth for a reason and I guarantee you it was not to fail. You have to believe that you were destined to be great. Of course there are obstacles that you have to over come in life, but by you trying, believing, and staying positive, the conquest of those obstacles are what makes us and defines us.
The key is to stay positive. You need to wake up believing that you will have great day, believing your finances will start to change for the better, believing that your health will start to improve, and believing you are destined to be great! The more you start believing in your self and the more you stay positive, the odds of you failing decreases dramatically. Even if you have to think back to when you were a kid. From kindergarten all the way to the day you graduated high school. That is an accomplishment in itself.
You see...you have been accomplishing obstacles your whole life. Don't let the negatives get you down. If you want to get that promotion, be the best that you can be at work. If you want to improve your health, start working out and eating right. If you want your finances to improve, create a daily budget and be proactive with what you spend. If you want your home business to be successful, do your research, study the economy, and NEVER GIVE UP! You are destined for greatness. Believe in yourself, have faith, and stay positive! Dwelling on the negatives in your life will not do anything but get you down. It not only affects you but it affect the people around you. Don't let the negativity win! You have the power to change it and you have the power to stay positive! Keep your head up and believe! Good Luck!
